  • Match Day is TODAY! We have an amazing class coming to UC!! Be on the look out in next week's newsletter where we will announce the new class, and include them on our mailing list :)

  • We will be having a "Goodbye with Gratitude" Party for Amy Bunger on Thursday 3/19 at 3 PM before she heads off to her new job in Cleveland. There will be cake and it will be in the resident workroom with the silver fridge! Join us and let Amy know how much she will be missed!

  • Dr. Warm will be having a Town Hall meeting with residents regarding the ACGME survey. The meetings will occur next week on Tuesday 3/19 at noon in the UH NRR and on Wednesday 3/20 after Mathis Review. This is an important topic and we hope all residents make every effort to attend.

  • Baseball season is coming soon and Reds tickets are available for residents. Please email Mara or Amanda if you are interested in getting tickets!

  • Resident mailboxes are filling up! Please stop by the IM office to clean them out!!

  • Matt Kelleher & Dana Sall are the course directors for the Clinical Skills course for MS1&2's and wanted to invite residents to participate in a unique teaching opportunity. They are looking for volunteers in February and March for 1-hour sessions, where you observe students conducting an H+P with the SP (~35-40 minutes), then provide direct feedback and teach students “at the bedside.” You will be provided a facilitator guide for each case. The final step will be observing the students giving a brief oral presentation followed by your feedback. The entire encounter will take approximately 55-60 minutes of your time.   • Feedback and improvement sessions for Geographic Wards will be every Tuesday and Friday in the UH NRR at 2PM. Come by with any thoughts. Remember to use the UCMC Geographic Wards page for updated information
