Policy is to split funding for accepted presentations between the Department of Internal Medicine and the Subspecialty Division that you worked with on your project. You should contact Dr. Schauer for funding approval PRIOR to submitting your work to a conference.

**Funding is not covered for case reports

Days off are coordinated with the chief residents. Current policy allows for two days off which include day of presentation and a travel day. This is guaranteed for one conference per year. Additional time off for additional conferences should be discussed with the chief residents and is reviewed on a case by case basis.
